For the March twentieth-anniversary issue, on stands February 22, Allure conducted a beauty survey of 2,000 women and men, taking the pulse of the average American to see how beauty perceptions and preferences have changed over the past two decades. It examines the face of American beauty and what we as a culture find attractive. The results indicate a shift in the features we find beautiful and shows that cultural desires have changed – perhaps forever.

Allure first conducted a beauty survey in 1991, when Christie Brinkley was considered to have the ideal, all-American look with her blonde hair, blue eyes, slim figure, and soft features. The new survey shows that Angelina Jolie’s dark hair, pronounced features and curvy body has replaced Brinkley as the beauty idol of today’s women.

In an exclusive statement, Jolie shuts down rumors that she’s adding a young Haitian girl to her family. Howard Kurtz on the tabloids that fed the bogus claims and distract from her cause.

Jolie made that clear in an exclusive statement to The Daily Beast.

“Earlier this week, the Daily Mirror U.K. and others reported that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in the process of adopting a child from Haiti,” says the statement provided by Adam Waldman of Washington’s Endeavor Group, who represents her. “There is no truth to these rumors.

“Rather, Ms. Jolie is focused on enhancing the welfare and legal protection of children within Haiti. As such, she has been meeting with government of Haiti officials, Haitian legal experts and non-governmental organizations regarding a new initiative of the Jolie-Pitt Foundation. The recently launched Jolie Legal Fellows Program will assist the justice system in Haiti to improve child protection.”

Not only that, but Jolie never even met the Haitian girl named Leah, according to Waldman.

According to The Mirror, the Oscar winner along with her partner Brad Pitt are hoping to adopt Leah, a four-year-old orphan Haitian girl, who lost her family in the earthquake.

The paper reports that if the adoption goes to plan Jolie, 35, and Pitt, 47, could have seven children by the end of the year.

The four-year-old is reportedly set to travel to the US to meet Jolie and Pitt’s family.

But remember, it’s NOT official, it’s just a gossip.

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie is the cover face of the showbiz magazine GOSSIPS Japan for the month of February 2011. As her action movie was recently premiered in Japan, She said while talking to magazine that she relied heavily on her partner Brad Pitt during the filming of the movie.

LA Times Magazine has published a list of ’50 most beautiful women in film’.

Angelina is 23rd.
